Bad Bunny and WWE boss Triple H

Bad Bunny has met for lunch with WWE boss Triple H sparking rumours he could be back in a wrestling ring in 2023.

The Grammy Award-winner, who was recently named Spotify’s most streamed artist in the world for the third year in a row, has revealed plans to step back from music and touring next year but fans could have another way to keep up.

On Thursday, WWE’s chief content officer – whose real name is Paul Levesque – shared a snap of them both sharing a bite to eat outside his private jet in Los Angeles.

The Game tweeted: ‘.@sanbenito is such a big star that when he drops in to have lunch he just lands his plane in downtown L.A., eats and then takes off! #RockStarLife (sic)’

The snap comes after Bad Bunny confirmed plans for his hiatus in the coming months, as he said in a statement: ‘I’m taking a break. 2023 is for me, for my physical health, my emotional health to breathe, and enjoy my achievements.

‘We’re going to celebrate. Let’s go here, let’s go there, let’s go on the boat. I have a couple of sporadic commitments, and I’ll go to the studio, but there’s no pressure. Remember yourself, cabrón. You’ve worked your ass off.’

Who should Bad Bunny face in WWE next year?Comment Now

Of course, Bad Bunny is no stranger to the world of wrestling, having first appeared at the 2021 Royal Rumble, where he performed his song Booker T alongside the track’s WWE Hall of Famer namesake.

He would then team up with Damian Priest in a huge win over John Morrison and The Miz at WrestleMania 37, where he left fans astounded with his skills in the ring.

And back in January, he was at the Royal Rumble event again, this time taking part in the men’s edition of the 30-person match which saw him get rocked by a huge F-5 by Brock Lesnar.

Meanwhile, Triple H had already teased this week’s meeting with Bad Bunny back in September, as he addressed media including Metro.co.uk after WWE’s Clash At The Castle show at the Principality in Cardiff, Wales.

He said: ‘He deserves every bit of respect that everybody else does. It’s what I said to Bunny after he worked with us the first time. “You earned my respect, I don’t give it easily.” Logan Paul, same thing. Earned my respect, I don’t give it easily. Pat McAfee, same thing.

‘There’s a list of people like that. [If] people don’t want to take it seriously and don’t want to respect what we do, I don’t wanna work with them. But somebody like Bad Bunny? Absolutely.

‘Little bit of a spoiler, he and I are going to have a conversation very, very soon. It’s already scheduled. We’re gonna go and see what’s available. He’s the biggest music star in the world so let’s go.’

WWE Raw (Mondays) and SmackDown (Fridays) air weekly at 1am on BT Sport 1.

Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney looked particular dapper as they met King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla on Friday.

The royals arrived in North Wales to meet the Hollywood stars, and visited Wrexham in celebration of it becoming a city.

Deadpool star Ryan announced intentions to buy the Welsh club in 2020 with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Rob, before taking full control in February 2021.

Ryan and Rob bought the club from Supporters Trust for £2million and they’ve since been followed by Disney+ cameras to document their quest to take Wrexham global in a new documentary, Welcome To Wrexham, which includes behind the scenes footage and access.

The pair returned to the racehorse ground today where they were joined by the new King and his wife Camilla.

Rob and Ryan were spotted chatting on the side, with Ryan putting his arm around his co-chairman in one picture.

In another, he appeared to be making the King chuckle as they stood side by side posing for pictures.

While on his second visit to Wales since his accession to the throne, the King met with Wrexham players to hear about the redevelopment of the club after Ryan and Rob’s takeover.
