Sir Tim Barrow, has been appointed as the new ambassador to the EU, replacing Sir Ivan Rogers. He was the UK’s ambassador to Moscow from 2011 to 2015. He has also advised a succession of foreign secretaries as well as holding other roles in the UK’s EU mission. His appointment has come under question as being to similar to the outgoing Sir Ivan. RT News has described the of Sir Ivan as being untrustworthy by Downing street and are labelling this as a bust-up.
