JetBlue first to offer free wifi, live TV and movies on every flight
JetBlue has completed a three-year upgrade of its entire fleet to include its Fly-Fi in-flight wifi service. The airline boasts broadband-quality internet access at no additional charge to passengers – most airlines charge fees for wifi, and typically prohibit bandwidth-eating activities such as live video streaming or gaming. Fly-Fi is now available on all 227 JetBlue Airbus A320, A321, and Embraer 190 aircraft.
Air India launches Delhi-Copenhagen service
Air India announced new routes via its Facebook and Twitter, including non-stop flights between Delhi and Copenhagen. Flights to the Danish capital will launch in May, using the carrier’s Boeing Dreamliner aircraft, and will be followed by a new service between Delhi and Washington in July
Emirates set to launch Dubai-Zagreb service
Emirates has announced that it will launch a daily service between Dubai and the Croatian capital of Zagreb. Starting June 1, the route will be served by a Boeing 777-300, and will be the only wide-body aircraft to operate between the two destinations.
