Ukraine war: More than 20 drones shot down in latest attack An overnight Russian drone attack has injured at least two people in Kyiv, authorities say. The Ukrainian airforce says around 20 Iran-made drones were shot down over the city’s airspace. Cerberus heatwave: Deadly hot weather sweeps across Southern Europe Southern Europe and north-west Africa are being smothered by a current heatwave sweeping the area – and potential record-breaking temperatures are expected in the coming days. Microsoft accuses China of hacking US government emails US software giant Microsoft has said China-based hackers have gained access to the email accounts of around 25 organisations, including US government agencies. Microsoft has not given any details of where the government agencies are based. US media is reporting that the State Department was targeted and Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo was among the individuals impacted by the breach.
