Four boys who died after falling through ice on Solihull lake are named The Guardian says The four children who died after falling through ice into a lake in Solihull have been named as brothers Finlay and Samuel Butler, their cousin Thomas Stewart, and Jack Johnson. The four boys were pulled from the freezing Babbs Mill lake in cardiac arrest on Sunday and taken to hospital, where eight-year-old Finlay, 11-year-old Thomas and 10-year-old Jack died a short time later. Solihull: Four boys who died after falling into a frozen lake named The Independent says Four boys who died after falling into a frozen lake have been officially named. Brothers Samuel and Finlay Butler, aged six and eight, both died in the tragedy, as well as their 11-year-old cousin Thomas Stewart, West Midlands Police said. Crush at Brixton Academy gig leaves four in critical condition Eight people are in hospital, four in critical condition following a suspected crowd crush during a concert at the Brixton O2 Academy in south London. Police were called to the gig of afro-pop singer Asake at around 21:35 GMT on Thursday. They were responding to reports of a large number of people trying to force their way into the venue. Fire in block of flats in France kills 10, including five children  A fire in a block of flats near Lyon, France has killed 10 people including five children.   The seven-story building had a “sizeable fire” according to officials, who said four other people are in critical condition and 10 others have minor injuries.  The fire has now been extinguished – it took 170 firefighters battling the flames to put it out.
