Schoolchildren and teachers kidnapped in Nigeria In southwestern Nigeria, unknown gunmen have abducted six students, three teachers, and a bus driver. The incident occurred in the town of Emure as they were returning from a road trip on Monday night.  Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti said authorities will do everything they can and are determined to find and rescue the children and teachers. Iran-aligned group suspends attacks against US after drone strike An Iraqi militant group, suspected of orchestrating a drone strike in Jordan resulting in the deaths of three US soldiers, has declared a suspension of operations against the US.
