Suspects behind beheading called for teacher Sam’s death  France’s interior minister claimed on Monday that the suspects behind the beheading of a French teacher had actively called for his death online.  Samuel Paty was beheaded on Friday outside his school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, in the northern suburbs of Paris. Wetherspoon pubs reveal first loss since 1984 JD Wetherspoons have reported their first annual pre-tax loss since 1984 as it laid bare the impact of the coronavirus restrictions on the pubs industry. Scotland introduces tighter rules on face coverings New rules have come into effect in Scotland regarding mandatory wearing of face coverings. Man admits he stabbed a 70-year-old Central  London Mosque prayer leader Daniel Horton has been convicted of stabbing a prayer leader in the neck as he held prayers at London Central Mosque.  Horton had recently converted to Islam and worshipped at the mosque. 40% of homeless in greater Paris test positive for Covid The Paris region’s homeless population have high rates of Covid-19 infections, according to a study published October 6.
