The back page of the Daily Express leads on Wales wing Louis Rees-Zammit took to social media to announce he is switching from rugby union to test out the NFL.
Wales and Gloucester winger Louis Rees-Zammit is set to sensationally leave rugby union with immediate effect to join the NFL’s International Player Pathway programme. Rees-Zammit, who scored 14 tries in 32 Wales caps, is now aiming to earn a spot on one of the 32 rosters in the NFL.
The IPP aims to help premier athletes earn a spot on an NFL roster and increase the number of international players in the League. On Tuesday, Rees-Zammit took to social media to sensationally announce his move.
