Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has attracted an incredible amount of propaganda and fake news stories.
The people who are suffering are the Ukrainians who have been displaced, killed and captured. No-one disagrees with that.
But so many people are suggesting that their is an endgame that is involves Russian sanctions and isolation.
The cost of the war in Ukraine
Whilst Ukraine will be left in ruins and in need of a rebuild. The unfortunate cost of the war will leave the country with debt for the arms that have been supplied by the United States and being used as a proxy for the US.
Russia has a perspective which is monitored and blocked by major search engines.
Ukraine and specifically the President Zelensky is on a PR war. Rallying as many world leaders to join to condemn the Russian invasion.
Will Ukraine join NATO?
The questions everyone is still asking is Will Ukraine be able to join NATO and the EU.
And if that happens will Russia take this war to the next level.

State of emergency declared as Ukraine launches raid into Russia
A state of emergency has been declared in Russia’s Kursk region following a rare cross-border attack by Ukrainian troops. Acting regional governor Alexei Smirnov stated this move was necessary to address the consequences of the incursion.
Russian officials reported that at least five civilians have been killed and 31 wounded, including six children, since the attack began. Ukraine has not officially commented on the situation, and the extent of the incursion remains unclear.
On Tuesday, up to 1,000 Ukrainian troops, along with 11 tanks and over 20 armoured vehicles, reportedly entered Russia near the town of Sudzha. Fighting occurred in several villages, leading local authorities to urge residents to stay indoors and cancel public events.
For the second day in a row, news about Kursk has not disappeared from the information field. I am confident that our military leadership will provide official information on everything.

But I have an important message for our allies. We are already taking the initiative, we are…
Air alerts were issued in Kursk, and verified footage showed fighter jets flying low and smoke rising from the ground. Thousands of people were evacuated, and additional doctors were brought in from other cities.
Ukrainian incursions into Russian territory have been extremely rare since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. On Wednesday evening, Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko claimed that Ukrainian forces had taken control of the Sudzha gas hub, a key facility for the transit of Russian natural gas to the EU.

Ukraine receives first F-16 fighter jets from the US
Ukraine has received its first American-made F-16 fighter jets, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced during a ceremony at an undisclosed airbase. Standing beside two of the jets, Zelensky expressed gratitude to allies for providing the aircraft, which they had initially been reluctant to send. He emphasised that while these jets significantly enhance Ukraine’s air force, which mostly uses outdated Soviet-era planes, more F-16s are still needed.
Zelensky did not reveal the exact number of jets that had arrived or the contributing countries, although he thanked Denmark, the Netherlands, and the U.S. for their support. NATO countries have promised around 65 F-16s since August 2023, following approval from U.S. President Joe Biden. However, Ukraine still requires more trained pilots to fully utilise the new aircraft.
