Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has attracted an incredible amount of propaganda and fake news stories.
The people who are suffering are the Ukrainians who have been displaced, killed and captured. No-one disagrees with that.
But so many people are suggesting that their is an endgame that is involves Russian sanctions and isolation.
The cost of the war in Ukraine
Whilst Ukraine will be left in ruins and in need of a rebuild. The unfortunate cost of the war will leave the country with debt for the arms that have been supplied by the United States and being used as a proxy for the US.
Russia has a perspective which is monitored and blocked by major search engines.
Ukraine and specifically the President Zelensky is on a PR war. Rallying as many world leaders to join to condemn the Russian invasion.
Will Ukraine join NATO?
The questions everyone is still asking is Will Ukraine be able to join NATO and the EU.
And if that happens will Russia take this war to the next level.

Ukraine mourns after day of Russian air strikes
Ukraine is observing a day of mourning following one of the deadliest waves of Russian missile strikes in months, which resulted in at least 41 deaths and 166 injuries. The attacks hit various cities, including Kyiv, where the main children’s hospital, Ohmatdyt, was severely damaged. Two people died in the hospital, and rescue efforts for survivors continued into Tuesday.
Russian authorities denied targeting the hospital, claiming it was hit by fragments of a Ukrainian missile, but Ukraine reported finding remnants of a Russian cruise missile. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack as “brutal” and labelled Russian President Vladimir Putin a “bloody criminal.” In response, NATO is holding a summit in Washington to address the invasion.
Global leaders, including UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and US President Joe Biden, condemned the strikes. Biden promised additional support for Ukraine’s air defence systems. Zelensky reported that Russia launched over 40 missiles on Monday, damaging nearly 100 buildings in cities like Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk.
Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported 16 injuries, including seven children, from the hospital strike. Flags were ordered to fly at half-mast, and entertainment events were cancelled. The UN highlighted increasing civilian casualties, noting that May was the deadliest month in almost a year. Meanwhile, in southern Russia, a fire broke out at a power plant following a Ukrainian drone attack.
