LONDON BRIDGE – Police are dealing with a major incident and all routes are being diverted.
Armed police attend incident at London Bridge amid reports of car mounting pavement and stabbing attack.
Witnesses have said that armed officers are understood to be at the scene after a white van hit pedestrians.
The Metropolitan Police say they are dealing with an incident on the bridge.
London Bridge station is one of the busiest stations in London, with connections to the south east and West of the country and London tube stations and Canary Wharf.
About five people were being treated for injuries after the vehicle mounted the pavement and hit them, the van, which was travelling from the direction of central London, headed towards the south side of the river.
