The PSOE has proposed to sanction with up to 30 days of employment and salary to officials who unjustifiably miss work, show carelessness or breaches in the exercise of their functions or unjustly breach their work schedule, among other reasons.
Thus it follows from one of the amendments that the Socialist Group has submitted to for the bill of the Public Function of the State Administration, published in July in the Official Gazette of the General Courts and whose period of presentation of amendments has ended This same week.
In the text that includes the 37 amendments provided by the PSOE itself (you can consult it in this link) the draft number 15 is included, which proposes to modify letter A of the point 3 of article 106 of the bill to establish that “by the Commission of Mild Faults “the staff can be sanctioned with” the firm suspension of functions and remuneration for a period of thirty days. “
The change is seen in the text, since the period devised prior to the amendments was one to fifteen days and appears crossed out. The other alternative for minor offenses, the warning, remains in its initial phase.
The minor offenses that would entail the penalty of 30 days of employment and salary are included in the text of the bill (you can consult it in this link) and are the following:
The unjustified breach of the work schedule when there is no serious offense. The lack of unjustified assistance of a day. The lack of consideration with any person in the exercise of their functions, when it is not constitutive of a serious fault. Negligence or negligence in the exercise of their functions. Failure to comply with the deadlines or any other of the provisions that regulate the procedure regarding incompatibilities, when there are no serious or very serious offense. Any breach of the duties and obligations of the official personnel, provided that they are not qualified as a very serious or serious offense.
The proposal of these amendments does not necessarily imply that they are going to include in the future law, since the negotiation stage of these amendments now begins that all parliamentary groups have requested to add to the initial text. Thus, the increase in sanctions for officials is aware of these negotiations between parties.
The increase in sanctions for official personnel is only one of the 37 amendments presented by the PSOE, among which are the option that the reliefs can delay retirement until 72 years, the recovery of partial retirement (which allows Compatible pension and work) or the improvement of parental permits for care of sons or daughters.
