Today we celebrate the remarkable life of Britain longest serving monarch. The Life of Her Majesty the Queen is magnificent.

The UK’s longest-reigning monarch died peacefully at Balmoral Castle on Thursday afternoon at the age of 96. People are leaving flowers and personal tributes outside palaces and churches as the UK marks the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Mourners can visit the royal.uk website to leave their messages.

Tearful mourners pay their respects at Windsor

Late into the night, mourners gathered at Windsor Castle to pay their respects to the Queen. One woman said that while she is in her fifties, the Queen is “the only monarch I’d ever known”.

“That’s the case for millions and millions of people,” she added.

Pop star Kylie Minogue remembered her meetings with the Queen fondly.

Ten days of mourning in Canada & the UK

In downtown Ottawa, Canada, a huge picture of the Queen lights up the side of the National Arts Centre.

It reads “a historic reign” in both French and English. And it really was. She was the first monarch to be given the title of Queen of Canada.

She was head of state in Canada for nearly half of the country’s existence – an extraordinary fact highlighted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when he addressed the nation after Her Majesty’s passing.

She was head of state of the UK and 14 other countries, including Australia, Canada and Jamaica. Remarkably, the Queen carried out her duties until the end. On Monday she invited Liz Truss to form a new government, after accepting Boris Johnson’s resignation an hour earlier.

We have a collage of pictures below showing some of the key moments in the life of the Queen. In pictures with Her Majesty gone but never forgotten.

Our goal
is to deliver the truth in a world dominated by leaders who are liars and a media that is biased

We are independent, we are small, but we are honest.

We can comfortably call Putin ‘RasPutin‘ and at the same time blame the Americans for not meeting his ‘demands’ and say sorry when we are wrong. Because that is actually the truth.

But most of all we love to expose the bias in traditional media, in our News Briefing Service.
